The professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, CT known once the Hartford Whalers and Hartford Wolf Pack was renamed the Connecticut Whale in November 2010 (!).
The Connecticut Whale adopted their current name in honor of the Hartford Whalers of the National Hockey League (which is quite funny because as you and I know, whalers used to hunt whales…).
Nonetheless, I am thrilled of the new change and thanks to my dad (who watched the Whale win last night) I am a proud owner of a new Connecticut Whale t-shirt.
Who ever said whales can’t play hockey? :)

Well, I think this whale looks VERY mean. Probably a defensive player. But if everybody else likes it...who am I to comment. Hope you write often. Love hearing an upbeat blog.
I agree about the mean face, but I guess it is better to have a mean looking whale than a team called the whalers..... :)
