Wrong place, wrong time UPDATE.

This story has gotten a lot of press, and if you have somehow not seen the video clip (from the Los Angeles Times) of the whale breaching and landing on a yacht, do watch! It is really unbelievable - and so crazy that someone managed to catch it on video!

According to the couple that captured the footage (Paloma Werner and Ralph Mothes), "It is definitely legitimate...We were on the boat and we saw the whale coming out, and we saw it. It's legitimate -- it hasn't been Photoshopped."

However, this incident has launched an investigation by the Department of Environmental Affairs. It is speculated that the boaters were breaking the law by approaching the whale (33 feet and 40 tons) and provoking it, therefore causing the whale to attack the boat.
